How We Help You
The mission of Student Financial Aid Services is to provide financial assistance to students in a quality manner by eliminating and reducing financial barriers, providing accurate information, and maintaining proper stewardship and fiduciary responsibility.
The goal of Student Financial Aid Services is to ensure that students who use Financial Aid will be able to:
- Understand the value of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Understand the importance of deadlines
- Distinguish various aid programs, including grants, scholarships, work-study and loans
- Receive valuable work experience
- Develop debt management skills
We encourage you to begin your application process early.
Application Process
In order for TCC to determine your eligibility for financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). TCC's financial aid school code is 003626.
Submit your FAFSA by the priority deadlines to ensure funding.
- Fall - May 1
- Spring - October 1
- Summer - April 1

Disbursement and Payment Options
Beginning Mid-October 2012
Tarrant County College will partner with Higher One®, to bring a new method for receiving refunds to all Tarrant County College students: the TCC Choice Card.
If you wish to continue to receive funds via EFT on or after October 12, 2012, you must log into the website that will be provided with your new TCC Choice Card and select an option.
Other Options
Automatic payment plans and third-party sponsorships are also available.
- Note: Financial aid students must pay for Wintermester and Maymester courses at the time of registration or create an automatic payment plan.
