Degrees and Certificates

Tarrant County College is accredited to award an associate degree by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Associate of Arts Degree

This program awards a two-year associate degree and prepares students to enter a four-year college or university.

Associate of Arts in Teaching Degree

This program offers two study areas for a two-year associate degree which prepares students to teach children from K through 12.

Associate of Science Degree

This program awards a two-year associate degree which will enable students to enter as juniors at a four-year college/university with a major in a science discipline.

Associate of Applied Science Degree

These programs offer two-year associate degrees in many technical, industrial, health and public service fields.

Certificate of Completion

These programs are normally one year and are designed meet specific needs of the community.

Additional Areas of Study

Basics / Core Curriculum and Fields of Study are also flexible options for students who are interested in transferring to a four-year college or university.
