Although the Martin Luther King, Jr. “Remembering the Dream” celebration at the South Campus was a couple of days after the official holiday, it was well worth the wait.

Pursuant to Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, as amended, 42 U.S.C. 1973c, a submission has been made to the Attorney General specifically directed to the voting section, Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice at the address listed below submitting the college district's requested change in conducting Trustee election, moving same from May of even years to May in odd years beginning May 2013. The Tarrant County College Board of Trustees has unanimously approved a resolution honoring and supporting the initiatives of the College’s Achieving The Dream team. Achieving the Dream is a nationwide initiative designed to increase student access and success.
